What coaching changes could mean for the SEC (Google Hangout)

January 10, 2014 By Bill Pollock

Vanderbilt head coach James Franklin is expected to receive a contract from Penn State worth up to $4.5 million a year. If the reports are true, he’ll become the Big Ten’s second-highest-paid coach behind Ohio State’s Urban Meyer.

Penn State has scheduled a news conference for 4:15 p.m. ET Saturday to make a “major announcement.”

Nick Saban of Alabama is looking for a new offensive coordinator. Is Lane Kiffin a serious consideration for the job and what exactly was he doing in Tuscaloosa a couple of weeks ago?

Here to offer his insight on this Google Hangout is Jon Cooper of SaturdayDownSouth.com.
