Mizzou Basketball will look to bounce back from a home defeat in their SEC Opener against Georgia, when they make their first-ever trip to Auburn, to face the Tigers. Mizzou’s loss to Georgia on Wednesday snapped a streak of 26 straight home wins.

Missouri and Auburn are meeting for just the second time in series history, which makes this series Mizzou’s least played in the SEC thus far.

Saturday’s game is a matchup of the SEC’s top two scoring tandems, Mizzou’s Jordan Clarkson (18.8) and Jabari Brown (18.4) and Auburn’s Chris Denson (19.8) and KT Harrell (18.7). They join Duke’s Jabari Parker (21.4) and Rodney Hood (18.5) as the lone sets of high major teammates to average 18.0+ points per game this season.

Both Clarkson and Brown have reached double figures in all-14 games played this season, but coach Haith wants to see the ball pass through Clarkson’s hands a bit more. In the Georgia game, Clarkson forced some shots and the Tigers never got into an offensive rhythm.

We break down the Georgia loss and this matchup as we chat with Will Palaszczuk of Columbia affiliate, KTGR.
