The Missouri Tigers are the SEC’s lone unbeaten team after overcoming a thirteen point first half deficit and beating the 18th ranked UCLA Bruins 80-71 in Columbia.  Mizzou is led by the guard trio of Jabari Brown (22 points), Jordan Clarkson (21 points), and Earnest Ross (20 points). Johnathan Williams III adds 10 points and 15 rebounds.  Missouri trailed 43-35 at the half but would hold the Bruins to just 28 second half points as UCLA makes just 8 of 31 shots from the field.

Missouri makes 10 of 26 shots from three point range led by Ross who was 5 of 11 from long distance.  UCLA goes just 5 of 20 from three point range.  The Tigers win the game despite committing 18 turnovers.  Mizzou would dominate the glass posting a rebound advantage of 47-30.

The win is Missouri’s 24th straight at home and it is their 79th consecutive win over a non conference foe at Mizzou Arena.   The Tigers improve their record to 9-0 while UCLA falls to 8-1.

The Tigers are off until December 15th when they host Western Michigan.  Mizzou will then play in St. Louis against Illinois on December 21st and at North Carolina St on December 28th to wrap up the 2013 portion of their schedule.
