I’m not sure if this made a big difference for the Missouri Tigers, but as Jon Cooper of SaturdayDownSouth.com said, the whole country was surprised Auburn beat Alabama. I wonder, if privately, it took the Missouri players a bit to get adjusted to the fact they would be facing Auburn?

All we heard was that Auburn may play Alabama tough or people would say they wouldn’t be surprised if Auburn won, but let’s face it…we were caught off guard. Not just the way game ended. We all expected A.J. McCarron to find a way to pull Bama through.  Regardless of how it would have happened, Auburn winning was a surprise.

Now that Auburn is in the SEC Championship game (and they certainly earned it) are they getting more credit than they deserve? Or perhaps, Missouri isn’t getting enough recognition?  I pose this question to Jon.

In the past, if you’ve watch my other Google Hangouts with Jon, his assessments are fair and honest. So I asked him if this was just a case of Missouri feeling slighted or is Mizzou being overlooked?  Jon shares great insight from a national perspective. You’ll enjoy hearing what he has to say.
