-A&M receives the opening kickoff and it appears Mizzou has stopped them on 4th and 6 but a running into the kicker penalty gives the Aggies a 4th and 1 and they go for it and get the first down to keep the drive alive. The Tigers defense gets another stop and this time the punt results in Missouri starting at their own 10 yard line with 11:08 left in the quarter.
-The Tigers are unable to do much with their first possession and after three plays they are forced to punt. Texas A&M takes over at their own 35 yard line with 9:48 left in the quarter of a scoreless game.
-The Aggies then put together a 10 play 65 yard drive that results in a Tra Carson 29 yard touchdown run. A&M grabs at 7-0 lead with 6:34 left in the quarter.
-Mizzou starts their second possession of the game at their own 25 yard line. The drive would reach the A&M 37 but an incomplete pass on 3rd and 13 forces a punt. A&M takes over at their own 5 yard line with 2:05 left in the quarter and the Aggies still on top 7-0
-Texas A&M manages one first down but they are forced to punt after a 3rd and 1 pass deep down the field is incomplete. The Tigers start at their own 13 yard line as time expires in the quarter.
