Jordan Clarkson scored 21 points, leading four starters in double figures, as the Missouri Tigers captured a 78-67 win over the Northwestern Wildcats in the third round of the Las Vegas Invitational at Orleans Arena.

Jabari Brown added 15 points and eight rebounds for the Tigers (6-0), while Ryan Rosburg and Johnathan Williams both delivered 14 points, the latter adding eight rebounds to match Brown in that department.

The Wildcats (4-3) were paced by JerShon Cobb who tallied a game-high 22 points, while reserves Tre Demps and Nathan Taphorn tacked on 11 points apiece.

Missouri missed all seven shots behind the 3-point line in the first half, but still the team was within striking distance at the half, trailing by a score of 39-34.

In the second half the Tigers erupted for 60 percent accuracy from the floor and 4-of-7 on the perimeter in order to grab the double-digit win. Northwestern made a total of just eight field goals after the intermission.

Leading the Tigers, who will now take on Nevada in the next round, from the sideline was head coach Frank Haith who made his return following a five-game suspension to begin the campaign.
