USC reporter thinks Ole Miss beats Mizzou (Google Hangout)

November 20, 2013 By Bill Pollock

Phil Kornblut of South Carolina Radio Network says he believes that Ole Miss will be able to beat the Missouri Tigers despite being underdogs on their home turf. Now, is Kornblut just providing some wishful thinking, since a loss would propel the Gamecocks into the SEC title game?

He brings up some interesting points, but on paper, Mizzou is the better team. Now, games are never won on paper, but there are some interesting elements to this game and valid arguments for both sides which proves this game Saturday night could go either way.

Mizzou fans feel slighted by the remarks made from those around the SEC who have said much of the Tigers success comes from injuries to Florida and Georgia. I get an outsider’s opinion of Mizzou’s season up to this point.
