Rams rookie Tavon Austin returned a punt 98 yards for a touchdown, and caught TD passes of 57 and 81 yards as the Rams blew out the Indianapolis Colts 38-8.  Kellen Clemens was 9 of 16 for 247 yards with the two TD passes, and the defense helped set the tone early.

Robert Quinn, the NFC sacks leader, sacked Andrew Luck on just the sixth play of the game and stripped the ball loose. It bounced right into the hands of Chris Long, who ran 45 yards for a touchdown and a 7-0 lead.  Luck was picked off in the end zone twice and wound up 29 of 47 for 353 yards with one TD and three interceptions.

Zac Stacy’s one-yard TD early in the second quarter made it 14-0 before Austin took over, accounting for the next three scores.
