Beer maker marks 2 years, eyes expansion

November 7, 2013 By Mike Lear

The maker of Kräftig lager turns two today. William K. Busch tells the St. Louis Post-Dispatch his company of the same name, based in Brentwood, will offer Kräftig in new markets outside the state early next year and could add one new product.

He says sales of beer in packages of 24 or more grew more than 11 percent from October 2012 even as the overall beer industry saw a decline.
