Vols reporter calls Mizzou’s loss “biggest choke job” (Google Hangout)

October 31, 2013 By Bill Pollock

John Cave Osborne contributes to TNSportsRadio.com and has joined me a few times on our Google Hangouts. He was one of the first in the SEC, who took a liking to Mizzou, in particular James Franklin. John watched the game with South Carolina and knew if the Tigers won, the SEC East race was done. He called the loss one of the biggest choke jobs he’s ever seen.

Now, despite the fact that Tennessee is starting a true freshman quarterback, he thinks this game will still be close. While he may give Mizzou a slight edge on paper, he thinks the Vols can come into Faurot Field on Saturday night and win.

What I like about John is that he’s fair and honest with his opinion. You may not agree with him, but I think you’ll respect his perspective from the Tennessee side of this matchup.
