-South Carolina gets on the board with 12:13 left in the quarter when Connor Shaw connects on a six yard touchdown pass to Bruce Ellington.   The Gamecocks converted a key 3rd and 19 on the drive.

-The Tigers begin their first possession of the quarter at their own 35 yard line and get into field goal range for Andrew Baggett but he misses from 46 yards out and it remains 17-7 Tigers with 9:32 left.

-Following the missed field goal South Carolina takes over at their 28 yard line and they are able to get in position for a 20 yard field goal by Elliott Fry to make it 17-10 Tigers with 5:03 remaining.

-The Tigers had a chance to win it if they could run out the clock or put points on the board but they can’t and they punt to South Carolina and the Gamecocks take over at their own 37 yard line with 3:08 remaining.

-It takes South Carolina 8 plays to go 63 yards and tie the game on a Connor Shaw to Nick Jones 2 yard touchdown pass.
