Following Mizzou’s win over Florida, the 7-0 Tigers are a top ten team moving up to 5th in Associated Press Poll and 7th in the Coaches Poll. The SEC as a whole took a hit with losses coming by four of the league’s top ranked teams.
Florida, ranked 22nd last week, dropped out of this week’s poll. Next week’s opponent, South Carolina, fell nine spots to 20th following their two point loss at Tennessee.
LSU and Texas A & M each fell seven spots respectively from 6th and 7th to 13th and 14th. Auburn made the biggest jump climbing from 24th to 11th with their win over the Aggies. Georgia dropped out of the top 25 as well with their loss at Vandy.
The Tigers climbed over six teams in the Coaches Poll coming in at 7th. Baylor and Miami were ahead of Mizzou in this poll.
