Jon Cooper of Saturday Down South is part two of our SEC, Mizzou-Florida preview today. We start by talking about the league’s record eight teams in the AP Top 25. The biggest surprise is #24 Auburn and the biggest disappointment so far has been Ole Miss.
Two keys that Jon points out in LSU’s win over Florida was there ability to run the football. If the Tigers can find their run game against the Gators, it will take a tremendous amount of pressure off Maty Mauk. The second key is LSU’s defensive line being able to put pressure on QB Tyler Murphy and stopping the run game. Jon agrees after watching the Tigers rush the Georgia offensive line, another performance like that this week will go a long way in helping Mizzou get past Florida.
