Missourinet Mornings–Greatest sports weekend in Show Me State history? (VIDEO)

October 14, 2013 By Bill Pollock

This is certainly one of of the rarest sports weekend in Show Me State history, with all major teams winning, but with a little stretch of the imagination, five teams are undefeated. First, the Chiefs move to 6-0 in front of the loudest crowd ever at an outdoor sporting event. 24-7 win over the Raiders. The crowd noise 137.5 decibels, breaking Seattle’s record earlier this year.

Rams coach Jeff Fisher claims his team is 2-0 after adopting a new attitude. They looked good beating up on Houston, 38-13.

The Missouri Tigers are ranked 14th in the country following their 41-26 win over Georgia to improve to 6-0.

The Cardinals are up 2-0 in the NLCS after dominating the Dodgers with great pitching on Friday and Saturday. Adam Wainwright pitches tonight at Dodgers Stadium.

The St. Louis are off to a 4-0 start after beating the New York Rangers 5-3…it’s the Blues first 4-0 start in franchise history and to top off the great weekend, Mizzou volleyball beat Alabama, they are 21-0.
