Reports are varying on the the length of time Missouri quarterback James Franklin will miss, with some sources reporting just a couple of weeks, while others say the senior is done for the season.

Franklin separated his right throwing shoulder in the fourth quarter of the No. 25 Tigers’ 41-26 win against No. 7 Georgia. Head Coach Gary Pinkel said he didn’t know the degree of Franklin’s separation, but he would know more Sunday.

“I don’t want to give you a number that’s not accurate, but it looks like the next few weeks he will be out,” Pinkel said.

Redshirt freshman Maty Mauk replaced Franklin and is the projected starter when the Tigers host Florida.
