-Mizzou gets a big kickoff return from Marcus Murphy to their own 45 yard line but the Tigers can’t capitalize and are forced to punt. A solid Brinser punt pins Georgia at their own 3 yard line to start their next drive
-Georgia is forced to punt after a three and out and the Tigers end up with great field position at the Georgia 43 yard line
-The Tigers would miss a big chance with the great field position as they go three and out and are forced to punt. The punt goes into the end zone and Georgia starts their next possession at their own 20 yard line
-The Bulldogs put together a big time drive aided by a couple of Missouri penalties and a key 4th down conversion. Aaron Murray connects with Wooten on a 7 yard touchdown pass and it cuts the Tigers lead to 28-20 with 3:23 left in the quarter
-Missouri’s third possession of the quarter ends with a punt and Georgia returns it to their own 42 yard line with all of the momentum firmly planted on the Bulldogs sideline
-Georgia needs two plays to move to the Missouri 37 yard line as the quarter ends. Missouri was held to just 35 yards total offense in the 3rd quarter.
