-After a short Georgia punt the Tigers start at their own 48 yard line and put together an impressive drive culminating in a 16 yard touchdown pass from Franklin to Washington and Mizzou leads it 14-7 with 12:33 left in the half

-Georgia starts a drive at their own 25 and they move the ball to the Tigers 11 but the Missouri defense gets a stop and the Bulldogs settle for a 29 yard field goal by Marshall Morgan to make it Mizzou 14 Georgia 10 with 9:54 left in the half

-Mizzou starts their next possession at their own 25 yard line and with the help of a pair of key third down conversions and a couple of big Georgia penalties the Tigers go 75 yards in 9 plays capped by a Marcus Murphy 36 yard touchdown run on 3rd and 5.  Missouri leads it 21-10 with 5:56 left in the half

-The Tigers then score on defense when Shane Ray sacks Murray and Michael Sam scoops it up and returns it 21 yards for a touchdown.  5:46 left in the half and Mizzou takes a 28-10 lead

-Georgia would then put together a solid drive but Brendan Douglas fumbles at the Tigers 6 yard line and Missouri takes over still leading 28-10

-The Tigers can’t move the ball from their own 6 yard line and they are forced to punt with :33 seconds left in the half

-The Bulldogs take over at their own 24 after a terrific punt by Brinser and Georgia reaches the Missouri 48 yard line as the half comes to a close
