The Missouri Tigers (5-0 overall, 1-0 in SEC) head to Athens, Ga. to make their first-ever game at Sanford Stadium, where they’ll take on the 7th ranked Georgia Bulldogs (4-1, 3-0) in an 11 a.m. (central time) game set for an ESPN.

Mizzou is coming off an impressive 51-28 win last Saturday night to spoil Vanderbilt’s Homecoming game. Mizzou’s offense managed 523 yards of total offense, including 278 in the air.  The biggest surprise has been the play of the defense.  The Tigers held Vanderbilt to just 97 yards of total offense in the first half.

With its five wins so far in 2013, the Tigers have already equaled their entire win total from last year’s 5-7 season.  While banged up, Georgia comes into Saturday’s game riding a four-game win streak, since dropping a heartbreaker in the season opener at No. 8 Clemson, 38-35. Since then, Georgia won three-straight home games against No. 6 South Carolina (41-30), North Texas (45-21) and No. 6 LSU (44-41), before winning an OT thriller last Saturday at Tennesse (34-31).

Brent Foster and Adam Stillman from the Jefferson City News Tribune help break down this week’s game.  If you are watching this from the Georgia football community on Google+, I think you’ll get a good understanding of how fans view Missouri football.
