October 5, 2013 By Missourinet Sports

-Vanderbilt starts the quarter at the Mizzou 33 yard line and with the help of a third down personal foul penalty on Kony Ealy the Commodores keep the drive moving and score a touchdown on a 2 yard touchdown run by Wesley Tate.  Mizzou 20 Vanderbilt 7

-Missouri answers the Vanderbilt scoring drive with an impressive 7 play 75 yard drive capped by a Henry Josey 5 yard touchdown run.  Gives Mizzou a 27-7 lead with 8:15 left in the quarter

-Vandy starts their next drive at their own 10 yard line and they gain one first down but are forced to punt after failing to convert a 3rd and 7.  Tigers take over at their own 29 following the punt

-A solid drive for the Tigers is slowed by an illegal shift penalty that takes a touchdown off the board but Mizzou gets a 41 yard field goal from Andrew Baggett to take a 30-7 lead with 1:38 left in the quarter

-Vanderbilt’s drive starts at their own 25 yard line and the Tigers defense forces a punt that brings the first half to a close.
