-Mizzou starts the opening drive of the game at their own 25 yard line and march 75 yards in 1:13 to grab a 7-0 lead on a 26 yard touchdown pass from James Franklin to L’Damian Washington

-Vanderbilt begins their first drive of the game at their own 25 yard line and the Tigers defense forces a three and out.  After the punt Missouri takes over at their own 44 yard line

-Missouri moves the ball to the Vanderbilt 21 yard line but can’t convert on 3rd down.  Andrew Baggett comes in to attempt a field goal and after a Tiger delay of game penalty he connects from 44 yards away to give Mizzou a 10-0 lead with 8:43 left in the quarter.

-The Commodores start their next drive at their own 19 yard line and the Mizzou defense comes up with an interception by Kentrell Brothers returned to the Vandy 11 yard line.  It is the Tigers 11th interception of the season.

-It would then take Mizzou one play to score on a Franklin to Eric Waters 11 yard strike.  It is 17-0 Missouri with 7:54 left in the quarter

-Vanderbilt starts at their own 25 yard line and with a sack from Markus Golden the Commodores are forced to punt after another three and out

-The Tigers start at their own 40 yard line following a punt.  They get deep in Vanderbilt territory after a 42 yard run by Marcus Murphy but settle for a 29 yard field goal by Andrew Baggett to make it 20-0 with 2:50 left in the quarter

-Vanderbilt’s next drive starts at their own 25 yard line and they execute their first sustained drive of the game reaching the Mizzou 33 yard line as the quarter comes to an end.
