Jon Cooper of SaturdayDownSouth.com joins me to give their take on this past weekend in the SEC. What we’ve learned:
1. Alabama is every bit as good as we thought they were, especially that defense. To shut down Ole Miss…you kidding me?
2. Georgia’s Aaron Murray and LSU’s Zach Mettenberger are NFL type quarterbacks, but the defense on both teams needs to tighten up.
3. Florida’s offense is better and are a threat in the SEC East. Not a good sign Mizzou fans. With Driskel at QB, I thought Mizzou could pull that off at home. Now? Eh, not so sure.
4. A&M will not compete for the SEC West…their defense is their downfall.
5. Despite South Carolina narrowly winning at Central Florida, they are still a good football team and can’t be counted out of the East.
