Game slowing down for James Franklin (AUDIO/VIDEO)

September 25, 2013 By Bill Pollock

Mizzou quarterback James Franklin is second in the SEC in total offense behind Johnny Manziel. Through three games, Franklin’s per game average is 351.7 yards. Mizzou’s offense is ranked seventh in the nation in total offense (567 ypg) and eighth in scoring (47 ppg). Head coach Gary Pinkel attributes part of Franklin’s success is his ability to run and the pressure that it puts on the defense. Pinkel again emphasized the importance of protecting himself.

Pinkel talks about how the game has slowed down for Franklin.  AUDIO (2:30)
