No one in the national media will give him the credit he deserves. When A & M went up 14-0 in the first eight minutes, he settled the team down. Finished the game 20-for-29, 334 yards, 4 TD.
In a big SEC East matchup, South Carolina had a nice bounce back win after losing to Georgia. South Carolina scored the game’s first 28 points, then held on late to beat Vanderbilt 35-25. The Gamecocks scored touchdowns on each of their first four possessions in the game, including a pair of touchdown passes from Connor Shaw. Shaw had a big game for South Carolina, passing for 284 yards and three touchdowns, while rushing for 84 yards to lead the team.
