Missouri Southern 17, Northeastern State 14 
A field goal with no time remaining in the half proved to be the difference as Missouri Southern defeated Northeastern State. Neither team scored in the second half as the game saw less than 600 yards of total offense.

For the Lions Giresse Forchu had 19 carries for 81 yards and a touchdown. Jay McDowell threw the ball just three times but rushed for 62 yards and one score. On defense Gatlin Ridgeway had seven stops and Gal Washington had an interception.  For the RiverHawks Joel Rockmore carried the ball 22 times for 145 yards. Thor Long passed for a touchdown and Terrance Dixon scored a touchdown on the ground. Langston Jones led the way with 21 total tackles while Kyler Harris added 11 stops.

Lincoln 47, Grambling State 34 
Lincoln scored the first 16 points of the game and did not look back as they defeated NCAA Division I FCS Grambling State. The Blue Tigers rattled off 600 yards of offense in the Missouri Classic, which was played in Arrowhead stadium.

For the Blue Tigers Jacob Morris was 18 of 36 for 280 yards and a touchdown, also adding a score on the ground. Morris Henderson had 11 carries for 137 yards and two touchdowns as well as a 102-yard kickoff return for a TD.  On defense Kendrick Causey had 15 stops on the night.

Lindenwood 35, Southwest Baptist 27 
Lindenwood outscored Southwest Baptist 28-20 over three quarter and made it hold up as they held off an SBU charge. SBU scored to cut the lead to just seven with 4:27 to play in the ballgame.

For the Lions Marvin Byrd carried the ball 29 times for 135 yards and a touchdown. Dillon Miller was 18 of 31 for 270 yards and a score through the air. On defense Connor Harris led the way with nine tackles and Pierre Desir picked off a pass and broke up two others. For the Bearcats Willie Tindal was 15 of 27 for 253 yards and two touchdowns. Derwyn Lauderdale caught six passes for 160 yards and one score. On defense Shaquille Shedd had 11 tackles and Ivan Hodges picked off two passes.

#3 Northwest Missouri 28, Central Missouri 24 
Northwest Missouri scored just once in every quarter, but with 2:51 to play they came from behind to beat Central Missouri. UCM jumped out to a 17-0 lead but could not hold off the third ranked Bearcats

Brady Bolles rushed for 82 yards and two touchdowns while passing for 191 yards and a score. Korey Jackson caught the lone touchdown pass of the night as part of his 39 total yards. On defense DJ Gnader had nine total tackles and Eric Reimer finished with six stops. For the Mules Hayden Hawk was 22 of 42 for 304 yards and a touchdown. Ronrei Lloyd caught eight passes for 131 yards and two scores. Defensively Connor Smith had nine stops and Zach Quines had an interception.

#16 Pittsburg State 65, Central Oklahoma 24 
#16 Pittsburg State scored the first 20 points of the game and did not look back as they picked up a win on the road at Central Oklahoma. PSU racked up 599 yards of total offense on the night as they moved to 2-0.

For the Gorillas Anthony Abenoja was 19 of 24 for 211 yards and three touchdowns. Jeff Seybold carried the ball 15 times for 59 yards and two scores. Nate Dreiling led the defense with 10 tackles and Tyler Disney had an interception. For the Bronchos Joshua Birmingham had 17 carries for 152 yards and two touchdowns. Adrian Nelson was 19 of 33 for 194 yards and a touchdown. Chase Talbert led the defense with 10 tackles and Levonte Doughlas had nine stops.

#6 Missouri Western 63, Missouri S&T 3 
Missouri Western scored the first 28 points of the game on their way to a runaway win over Missouri S&T. The Griffons held the Miners to just 213 yards of total offense as they moved to 2-0 on the night.

For the Griffons Tra Brown rushed for 109 yards and two scored and Raphael Spencer had 107 yards and two scores. Travis Partridge passed for 11 yards and rushed for 89 and he finished with two touchdowns through the air and one on the ground. Brody Berrie led the defense with nine total tackles while Marc Harrison and Michael Jordan had interceptions.
