Mizzou and Tennessee leaders in the SEC East, for now (Google Hangout)

September 10, 2013 By Bill Pollock

I admit that perhaps I may have jumped on the Bobby Petrino bandwagon after Western Kentucky’s win over Kentucky. I thought just maybe Petrino would pull out some magic against the Tennessee Volunteers.  But, under Butch Jones, the defense was opportunistic and the offense rolled up some big yards on the ground in a 52-20 win over WKU.

Things get real this weekend for UT when the Vols travel to number two Oregon.

Paul Fortenberry of VolQuest.com talks about the renewed energy surrounding Tennessee with the arrival of Butch Jones. What he expects to see from this matchup with Oregon and how an Alabama-Oregon national title game would play out.

Paul also shares his thoughts on the SEC East Division race and their website offers a great behind the scenes look on game day.  Check it out.  He pointed out that Mizzou and Tennessee are the only 2-0 teams in the SEC East!
