Cardinals and Royals will open 2014 on the road on March 31 (Download Schedules)

The 2014 baseball season for the Cardinals and Royals will begin March 31. The Royals will open the season up north in chilly Detroit, while the Cardinals open at division rival Cincinnati.

The home opener for the Cardinals is April 7 against the Reds, followed by the Chicago Cubs in the first homestand of 2014. The New York Yankees come to Busch May 26-28 and Boston on August 5-7.

The Royals home opener is April 4 with the White Sox and Tampa Bay in for the first homestand. Highlights for the home slate includes a visit from the Cardinals June 4th and 5th after the Royals make a two day trip to Busch on the 2nd and 3rd.  The Dodgers come in June 23-25.  The Giants, August 8-10
