The Missouri Tigers had plenty to be happy with in their 38-23 win over Toledo on Saturday. It was Gary Pinkel’s 92nd win as the head coach at Missouri. He’s one win behind Dan Devine and nine short of tying Don Faurot.

Despite Toledo closing to one point in the third quarter, the Tigers took over and controlled the game down the stretch. Missouri has been outstanding on third down through two games this season. The Tigers are 20-of-31 (.645) on third down this year, including a solid 9-of-15 on Saturday.

Missouri was 5-of-6 in the redzone against the Rockets and on attempt included Victory formation to close out the win. The team was 4-of-5 last week against Murray State and now 9-of-11 (.818) on the year.

Mizzou recorded three interceptions for the second consecutive game and now has six INTs on the year. The Tigers had just seven interceptions all of last season.

Joining me to talk more about the Tigers win from Saturday are Will and Matt from KTGR, Columbia.
