Mizzou takes on Toledo this Saturday. Prior to coming to Missouri, Gary Pinkel coached at Toledo for 10 seasons and really put that team on the college football map. 73-37-3 record during his tenure with the Rockets and he is a member of the school’s Hall of Fame. What you may not have known is that Pinkel took over for Nick Saban, who coached at Toledo for one year and recommended his former college teammate for the job.  Pinkel tells the story in his own words on this Missourinet Mornings video.
