Mizzou quarterback James Franklin completed 26 passes to 11 different receivers in the Tigers 58-14 win over Murray State. I would say that’s what you call having options. Jaleel Clark (five catches), DGB, Bud Sasser and Marcus Lucas (four each) and L’Damian Washington (three catches), shows the Tigers have some balance. That doesn’t even include Darius White’s 37 yard reception or Jimmie Hunt’s 22 yard gain. With more options, a better o-line and Franklin continuing to improve his technique, this could be a big year for the senior.
