Missouri takes the opening kickoff and advances to the Murray St 41 yard line where Bud Sasser fumbles and the Racers recover
Murray St then marches 59 yards in 6 plays in 1 minute 15 seconds to take a 7-0 lead
The Tigers come right back to tie it 7-7 with a 75 yard drive that is capped by a Russell Hansbrough 3 yard touchdown run.  Dorial Green-Beckham had a 44 yard reception on the drive
The Racers then advance to the Missouri 22 yard line but miss a 39 field goal.
Mizzou then takes the lead on a 51 yard touchdown run by Hansbrough, his second TD run in the game. It was a 4 play, 78 yard drive. The extra point attempt is blocked and Missouri leads 13-7 with 8:43 left in the 1st quarter
The Racers answer with a 14 play 83 yard drive that results in a touchdown when wide receiver Jerem Harness throws a 5 yard touchdown pass to quarterback Maikhail Miller and Murray St goes up 14-13 when the extra point is good.
Missouri’s next drive reaches the Mizzou 49 but the Tigers are eventually forced to punt. Russell Hansbrough with another big run on the drive. He has 101 yards rushing on 7 carries at the end of one quarter.
