Missourinet Mornings–Webb City football puts 90 game win streak on the line (VIDEO)

Webb City’s football team looks to extend its 90 game regular season win streak tonight against Carl Junction. The Cardinals have won three straight Class 4 Missouri state titles and haven’t lost a regular season game in nine years. If the Cardinals repeat, they’ll do it without 30 graduated seniors. Hear from Cardinals Coach John Roderique.

Plus, with the heat in full force, athletic programs around the state are trying to find ways to reduce the effect on the first games of the school year. Jason West, the Communications Director for the Missouri State High School Activities Association, guidelines are in place to help schools make decisions.
