Head coach Gary Pinkel told us on Thursday that center Evan Boehm would be able to practice on Saturday. He missed the final scrimmage with a foot strain.  If Boehm is ready for this Saturday against Murray State, (and we’ll get confirmation today at 3:30 on Twitter@Missourisports) then the Tigers should be starting the season with a healthy offensive line.

Lebanon, Mo. native Justin Britt spoke with me about the importance of having that cohesion on the offensive line. Britt has been bounced around different positions on the line and feels most comfortable at left tackle where he’ll play this year. He first played the position two years ago when Elvis Fisher was lost for the year and wouldn’t mind being compared to the way Fisher played that position, protecting James Franlin’s back side. However,  Justin doesn’t want to go down the same road as Fisher when it comes to hairlines.
