Nate Latsch of STLhighschoolsports.com has reported that the Mizzou basketball program has their first verbal for the 2015-16 season, in Washington High School senior guard Ronnie Suggs. The 6’6, 175-pound combo guard, will spend next season at a prep school before enrolling at Mizzou for the ’15-’16 academic year.

“They want me to be able to come in and be an impact player as soon as I get into a Missouri uniform,” Suggs told Latsch. “That’s what I’m trying to do, so that being said I decided to go to a prep school so I can get stronger and be ready to be that impact guy as soon as I get here.”

Suggs picked Mizzou over a handful of other schools including Saint Louis University.
