On the first possession of overtime, Chase Daniel found Rico Richardson for a 15 yard touchdown as the Chiefs won their first preseason game, 26-20 over the Steelers in Pittsburgh on Saturday night.

More importantly, starting quarterback Alex Smith led the Chiefs on two scoring drives in the first half. Smith finished 17 of 24 for 158 yards and a touchdown. Running back Jamaal Charles ran seven times for 10 yards in his first game after spraining his right foot.

Chiefs rookie Knile Davis provided the biggest highlight of the night. After the Steelers took a 17-10 lead with just under two minutes to go in the third quarter, Davis took the ensuing kickoff 109 yards for a touchdown.
