Kristie Price of Marshall, Missouri swept the First Lady’s Pie Contest at the 2013 Missouri Sate Fair in Sedalia winning first of place not only in the soft pie category but the berry pie category – PLUS – she won the Best of Show. Price’s Key Lime Coconut pie and Fruit Berry pie won her the honors.
Brownfield Ag News talked with Kristie right after her sweep. Her advice to up and coming pie bakers, “Practice, practice, practice.”
