The strained tendon in E.J. Gaines’ knee could have been much worse. Wide receiver L’Damian Washington stepped on Gaines foot as the senior quarterback was going up to jump. His body lifted, but his leg stayed on the ground. This time Mizzou football caught a break. After two seasons of devastating injuries, the Tigers have gotten through 12 of their 29 practices with only minor dings.
