H.S. wide receiver decides to join older brother at Mizzou (VIDEO)

August 14, 2013 By Bill Pollock

Dunbar High School football star Stepfawn Hughes, the younger brother of current wide receiver Darius White, will be Missouri’s 18th commit for 2014. Hughes, from Ft. Worth, TX.,  picked Mizzou over LSU, Nebraska, Baylor, Colorado, Iowa State, North Texas and Oklahoma State. Terez Paylor, of the Kansas City Star, has a nice write up about OSU’s pursuit of Hughes and how Mizzou ended up winning the recruiting battle.

Hughes could play a variety of positions, including running back, slot receiver or cornerback.  He’s 5’9, 185 pounds.  According to Paylor’s report, Hughes recently ran a 4.52 40-yard dash, benched 265 pounds, squatted 530 and a posted a 38-inch vertical leap.

Check out some video of Hughes from hudl.com
