The Central Missouri Jennies volleyball team was picked to finish second in the MIAA preseason coaches poll. Defending champion Nebraska-Kearney was picked to repeat as champions.  The Jennies tallied one first-place vote and 108 points to come in second. The Lopers garnered eight first-place nods and 118 points to claim the top spot. Washburn came in third with three first-place votes and 107 points. Emporia State (89 points) and Pittsburg State (71 points) round out the top five.
