Remember a couple of years ago when NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell pushed for an 18-game regular season and the players balked at the idea, because of the extra stress it would put on their bodies? Don’t get me wrong, I understand where they were coming from. However, Goodell wanted to add more meaningful and cut down on the preseason.
