DGB could be blocking punts for Mizzou (VIDEO)

August 7, 2013 By Bill Pollock

The Missouri Tigers were taking a look at Dorial Green-Beckham on the punt block team. While head coach Gary Pinkel wouldn’t commit to anything more than “We’re just evaluating a lot of people,” at 6’6 and listed as the tallest Tiger on the three-deep, depth chart, it would make sense.

Pinkel said his height, with the combination of speed and wing span, could bring DGB a foot or two closer to the punter.

Also on the wide receiver front, Marcus Lucas was in a red, non-contact jersey today. Pinkel says that Lucas has a slight hamstring issue, but wouldn’t elaborate. Plus, Pinkel shares his thoughts on the injuries to former Tiger receivers Jeremy Maclin and the latest blow to Danario Alexander…his torn ACL.
