Chiefs waive CB Buddy Jackson

July 31, 2013 By Bill Pollock

The Kansas City Chiefs waived cornerback Buddy Jackson. An undrafted free agent with the Indianapolis Colts in 2012, he spent time at training camp with the Colts and then joined the Washington Redskins practice squad. He was claimed off waivers by the Chiefs in May.  The decision to waive Jackson puts the Chiefs at 89 players on the roster. The team has Wednesday off, before returning to the practice fields at 8:15 AM on Thursday.
