Police say the baby found in a Kansas City trash truck Monday morning was likely born prematurely at home.
The baby was estimated to be 29 to 34 weeks along. His body was found by trash truck drivers who were tossing trash bags into the back of their truck.
Police have narrowed the area along the route where they think the truck picked up the baby. Authorities are asking for the public’s help to find a woman who was recently pregnant but no longer is.
