July 26, 2013 By Mike Lear

Authorities have reportedly found the body of a man who disappeared after going out for a jog on Monday.

Chad Rogers

A family friend has told the Kansas City Star that the Liberty Police Department has told the family of Chad Rogers that they have “tentatively” located his body.

A post on the Facebook page dedicated to the search tells the public that the cause of death is not known and the search has been called off. It also asks the public to give the family space as they deal with the news, and says information will be available in the coming days for making contributions to the family.

Rogers is described as a stay-at-home father and marathon runner who left home Monday night for a run.
