It was difficult to keep my interest in the All-Star game. I like good pitching matchups, but I want to see a little more action than three hits from the National League…it was a snooze fest. After watching Royals reliever Greg Holland pitched 1/3 of an inning in the seventh, I decided it was best to call it a night for early wake up call.
I missed the eighth inning when Mariano Rivera came on to pitch. I’ve got the video, courtesy of Fox Sports and MLB, showing the tribute the players gave to Rivera. If you don’t get chills…you don’t get baseball.
