Police looking for woman with Alzheimer’s, disappeared in Warsaw

The Benton County Sheriff’s Department has issued an Endangered Person Advisory for a missing person incident after a woman went missing at Walnut Grove Road in Warsaw, Mo., about noon on Saturday.

Cook Hellen EHellen Erlene Cook, 72, is a white female. She is 5 feet tall and weighs about 95 pounds. She’s described as having brown hair, blue eyes, and wsa wearing a white t-shirt, blue jean shorts, and tennis shoes when she went missing. She was carrying boots and a walking stick.

Authorities say Cook suffers from Alzheimer’s and frequents McDonald’s and Wal-Mart. She might be en route to Buckner, Mo., where she lives.

Anyone who has any information is urged to call 911 or the nearest law enforcement agency, or call the Benton County Sheriff’s Department at (660)438-9555.

Cook lives in Warsaw but may be traveling to Buckner, her former residence.
