Mizzou hoops to play N’Western, Nevada in Vegas tournament

The complete pairings for the Las Vegas Invitational (Nov. 28-29) have been released and Missouri Basketball will open against Northwestern on Thanksgiving night (Nov. 28) on ESPNU before facing Nevada on Nov. 29 on ESPN3 and ESPN Full Court.

The Tigers and Wildcats will meet at 9:30 p.m. CST (7:30 PST local) at the Orleans Arena. It will be Missouri’s eighth meeting against Northwestern and first since 1968. Missouri leads the series 4-3 all-time.

The Tigers then face Nevada at 7:30 p.m. CST (5:30 PST local) to complete the event. That game will be televised on ESPN3.com and ESPN Full Court. It will mark Mizzou’s first meeting against the Wolf Pack.

In the opening round games of the tournament, Mizzou will meet Gardner-Webb on Nov. 23 and will then face IUPUI on Nov. 25.

2:00 p.m.             Morehead State vs. Chattanooga

4:30 p.m.              UCLA vs. Nevada (ESPN3)

7:30 p.m.              Missouri vs. Northwestern (ESPNU)

 

Nov. 29

2:30 p.m.             LOSER Gardner-Webb/IUPUI   vs.   Loser Morehead State/Chattanooga

3:00 p.m.             Winner Gardner-Webb/IUPUI vs. Winner Morehead State/Chattanooga

5:30 p.m.              Missouri vs. Nevada (ESPN3)

8:30 p.m.              UCLA vs. Northwestern (ESPN2)
