Sporting KC plays to draw

July 4, 2013 By Missourinet Contributor

Camilo scored on a free kick late in the first half to tie the game Wednesday and Vancouver held on to earn a 1-1 road draw with Kansas City.

Vancouver has piled up 10 points from its last four games and, with a 7-5-5 record, is in fourth place in the Western Conference.

Kansas City took the lead in the 35th minute on a goal from Aurelien Collin.

Camilo’s tying goal came from 25 yards out. He bent the ball around the wall and just inside the right post.

Kansas City (7-5-6) shares third place in the Western Conference with Philadelphia.
