The Cardinals start the month of July two games behind Pittsburgh in the NL Central standings. After a blistering month of May, where the Cardinals only loss six games, they increased their lead in the division by just one game that month.  After a 14-14 record in June, the Cards saw their lead reach as high as four games, but after losing six of eight against teams from the AL West, that lead has now turned into a two game deficit. Is that reason for concern for the second half of the season?
