The Royals went with a surprising pick with the overall number eight pick in yesterday’s MLB draft, but if Hunter Dozier pans out, it could mean good things for the left side of the infield. It’s been 19 years since the Cardinals took a left handed pitcher in the first round of the draft, but yesterday they took two. Both are command pitchers opposed to guys who bring the heat.  You’ll hear from 19th overall pick Marco Gonzalez.

Finally, this is a crucial year for Sam Bradford and the Rams offense. New weapons around him, but his second year in an offense he’s familiar with. We’ll hear from him after yesterday’s OTAs in St. Louis.
