Class 5 semifinal scores:
Christian Brothers College def. Willard, 5-2
William Schrimpf and Matthew Vierling hit back to back homers to break a 1-1 tie.
Francis Howell def. Staley, 9-6
A five-run fifth inning broke open a close game. Calvin Munson drove in two runs and improves to 8-0 on the mound.
Sunday’s schedule at O’Fallon will feature the Class 4 3rd-place game as the first game of the day, followed by the Class 4 Championship, then the Class 5 Championship game, with the Class 5 3rd-place game ending the day.
